Welcome to Crescendo Performing Arts
Guided by our experienced, DBS-cleared teachers; students learn to focus their energy and enthusiasm into creative, progressive learning. Crescendo students are encouraged to express themselves, work creatively with others and to put in place key skills and techniques that will enable them to produce focused, public performance. We also ensure that they'll have FUN... and lots of it! We believe passionately in creating a fun, safe environment where our students can express and enjoy themselves whilst developing into performing artists through, song, dance and drama. We aim to be a positive and encouraging presence in the local community and we love people who love the arts! Be part of the family - whether you fancy being involved in drama, singing, dancing, musical theatre, filming, songwriting, directing, script-authoring...

Saturday's at Whitehouse Primary School, Milton Keynes
Minis (age 3 - 5 Years)
£30 each half term
9.30 - 10.30am Saturday
Midis (age 6 - 8 Years)
£35 each half term 9.30 - 10.30am Saturday
Juniors (age 9 - 12 Years)
£70 each half term 10.30am - 1.30pm Saturday
Seniors (age 13+ Years)
£70 each half term 10.30am - 1.30pm Saturday

TEAM

Sian Gates
Teacher
Trained in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Character, Ballroom, Latin and Jazz as well as being Rock & Roll champion, Sian's experience is extensive! Her exams were taken at the Royal Academy of Ballet in London, and later she also trained with Frantic Flo in Street Dance.Sian is also an outstanding vocalist. You'll see Sian working with all age ranges.

Frank Scarito
Teacher

Frank is an award-winning filmmaker, songwriter, and playwright whose creativity spans stage, screen, and music. With a passion for storytelling and performance, Frank has written and produced original works that have delighted audiences and received critical acclaim.

He has taken two original musicals to the Edinburgh Fringe FestivalCafé L'Arté and Shoe Dunnit. Both shows received enthusiastic audience responses, with Shoe Dunnit earning a 4-star review from Musical Theatre Review for its originality and entertainment value.

In addition to his creative achievements, Frank is a dedicated teacher and mentor. His teaching style encourages creativity, imagination, and self-expression, ensuring that every student feels inspired to reach their potential.

At Crescendo Performing Arts, Frank shares his wealth of knowledge in film, theatre, music, and writing, offering students a unique opportunity to learn from an accomplished professional who continues to create, innovate, and inspire.

Abbie Jane Gates
Teacher
Abbie Jane Gates is a dedicated dance teacher with a passion for inspiring young performers. Alongside her teaching career, Abbie has worked professionally in film, bringing a wealth of industry experience to the studio.

She featured in Zero, directed by Faye Gilbert, where her performance was widely praised. Her talent was recognised locally when she won Best Actress at the Milton Keynes Inspiration Awards, highlighting her ability to connect with audiences through powerful and expressive performances.

At Crescendo Performing Arts, Abbie combines her professional performance background with her love for teaching. She strives to create a supportive, engaging environment where students can build confidence, develop strong technique, and explore their creativity through movement.

Abbie believes in nurturing every student’s potential and inspiring them to achieve their best, whether they are working towards a career in the arts or simply developing a lifelong love of performance.

Grace Leach
Teacher
Grace is a versatile singer and actor with over 13 years of Musical Theatre training and performance experience. She recently graduated from Italia Conti, where she studied musical theatre intensively, following her earlier training at Arts1 College. Her passion lies in acting through song as she enjoys portraying different characters and their stories.

Alongside her formal training, Grace has contributed to Spectrum Community Arts through voluntary work, supporting weekly performance classes and assisting with two inclusive showcases. Her commitment to accessible theatre and creative expression reflects her belief in the power of the arts to connect and uplift.
